VISITING LECTURER AT UNIVERSITY OF TROMSØ:

During her tenure as a Visiting Lecturer from January to May 2024, LAUREN developed and delivered course content for the 'Oceans' Futures’ program. Her work involved designing online modules on visioning and strategic planning, as well as facilitating workshops on scenario planning.

SCENARIO PLANNING EXPERT:

Since May 2019, LAUREN has been a Scenario Planning Expert with Chermack Scenarios, where she uses scenario planning methods to assist organizations with strategic decision-making in high-impact, high-risk environments. Her projects span multiple sectors and locations, including North and South America and London.

PRESIDENT AT DOUGLAS MARITIME INSURANCE:

From April 2020 to October 2022, LAUREN served as President of Douglas Maritime Insurance, overseeing company operations and client relations during a transition period. Her role involved managing risk reduction, supporting employees, and negotiating the sale of the company.

VICE PRESIDENT AT KALM SEAS:

LAUREN was a co-founder and Vice President at KALM Seas, a marine insurance start-up, from March 2016 to January 2019. She played a key role in establishing the business, managing relationships with insurance agents, and ensuring profitability through strategic underwriting and business operations.
