LIHUI CHEN earned his Ph.D. from South China University of Technology. He is currently a professor at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, where he leads the National Forestry and Grassland Administration Key Laboratory of Plant Fiber Functional Materials and the Key-field Innovation Team of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.

Prof. Chen holds executive membership in the China Technical Association of Paper Industry and serves as director of the Fujian Province Technical Association of Paper Industry.
