EARLY ACADEMIC PURSUITS:
Sameh Abdel-Raouf Ahmed Hassan began his academic journey in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, earning a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Assiut University, Egypt, in 1999. He achieved an excellent academic record, graduating with a Degree of Honor.
He continued his education with a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same university in 2003. His thesis focused on the spectrophotometric and spectrofluorometric determination of some psychoactive drugs.
Later, in 2009, Sameh pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Nagasaki University, Japan. His doctoral research, titled "Selective Determination of Quinones in Biological and Environmental Samples by HPLC with Photo-Induced Chemiluminescence Detection," showcased his commitment to advanced analytical techniques.
PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS:
Sameh's professional journey reflects a diverse and accomplished career in academia and research:
- Demonstrator and Lecturer (1999-2005): He started as a Demonstrator and later became a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry at Assiut University, Egypt.
- Ph.D. Student (2005-2009): Sameh pursued his Ph.D. at Nagasaki University, Japan, specializing in pharmaceutical sciences.
- Assistant Professor (2009-2011): After completing his Ph.D., he returned to Assiut University as an Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry.
- Associate Professor (2011-2020): Sameh continued to climb the academic ladder, becoming an Associate Professor at Taibah University in Saudi Arabia.
- Professor (2020-present): Currently, Sameh holds the position of Professor of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry at Taibah University, KSA.
