EARLY ACADEMIC PURSUITS:

Ruifeng Shi commenced his academic journey at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA), China. He earned a Ph.D. in System Engineering from September 2002 to January 2006. His doctoral project, "Hierarchical Production Planning Modeling and Its Optimization with Modern Heuristic Algorithms," showcased his early commitment to advancing engineering methodologies.

Following this, he pursued a Master's in Aircraft Design at BUAA from September 1999 to March 2002, where his research focused on "Modeling and Performance Evaluation of Aircraft Conceptual Design." This was preceded by a Bachelor's in Aircraft Design from September 1995 to July 1999.

PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS:

Since April 2008, Ruifeng Shi has been a Professor at North China Electric Power University (NCEPU). His teaching spans courses such as "Introduction to System Engineering" for undergraduates and "Theory on System Decision Making Analysis" for Master's students. His significant contributions include research in Self-Contained Transportation Energy System Planning and Optimal Scheduling, and Electric Vehicle Charging/V2G Discharging Infrastructure Planning.

He enriched his international experience as a Visiting Scholar at Baylor University, USA, from August 2014 to August 2015. During this period, his research focused on multiple objective optimization in Electric Vehicle charging station planning with SPEA-II and the study of V2G-based Residential Microgrid with Uncertain Wind Power and Electric Vehicles.

Additionally, he served as the Project Manager of Communication Department for the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China from September 2011 to April 2012, contributing to the management of 863 program projects.
