EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Saurabh Dubey is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh, with a CGPA of 9.0. He is expected to submit his dissertation within the next month. He holds an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, with a percentage of 72.95, and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Integral University, Lucknow, with a percentage of 66.90. His earlier education includes completing his Intermediate and High School education at Army School, Gorakhpur, with percentages of 68.2 and 62.6, respectively.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Since August 2020, Dubey has been working as a Teaching Assistant at NIT Arunachal Pradesh, where he has taught courses and labs such as Concrete Technology, Design of Steel Structure, Structural Analysis I & II, Engineering Geology, and Structural Mechanics Lab. From January 2015 to May 2019, he served as an Assistant Professor at IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad, where he taught subjects including Building Material & Construction, Concrete Technology, Geoinformatics, Design of Steel Structure, Transportation Engineering, and Design of Concrete Structure.

INDUSTRIAL PROFILE

Dubey has industry experience working as a Graduate Engineer Trainee (G.E.T) at Sobha Developers Ltd, Gurgaon, from June 2012 to August 2012, where his responsibilities included surveying, plan execution, supervising shuttering and reinforcement activities, preparing running account bills, and daily productivity reporting. Prior to this, he worked as a G.E.T at Unity Infra Projects Ltd, Ahmedabad, from January 2012 to June 2012, where he handled client interactions, supervised construction activities, and coordinated daily work plans with planning engineers.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

His Ph.D. research focuses on the "Prediction of Various Parameters of Concrete using the Application of Machine Learning." During his M.Tech, he conducted research on the "Studies on the Effect of Cement Concrete by Using Waste Material like Fly Ash and Brick Kiln Dust." His B.Tech project was titled "Design of Water Supply Scheme for a 100 Bedded Hospital Building."

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

At NIT Arunachal Pradesh, Dubey has been responsible for teaching and conducting labs in subjects such as Concrete Technology, Design of Steel Structure, Structural Analysis, and Engineering Geology. At IMS Engineering College, he taught a wide range of subjects, including Building Material & Construction, Concrete Technology, Geoinformatics, and Design of Steel Structure.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

In addition to his teaching roles, Dubey has significant professional experience in the industry, where he gained practical knowledge in surveying, construction supervision, client handling, and daily project planning during his tenure at Sobha Developers Ltd and Unity Infra Projects Ltd.

RESEARCH TOPICS

His current Ph.D. research explores the application of machine learning in predicting various concrete parameters, reflecting his deep interest in integrating advanced technologies with structural engineering. His M.Tech research and B.Tech project also highlight his focus on sustainable and practical engineering solutions.
