Suresh Chandra Baral, born on October 6, 1996, hails from a rural village where electricity was a luxury for over 12 years. Despite facing challenges, he excelled in academics, securing the top position in the 12th Board Examination in Odisha. His academic journey began at Jayadurga High School, Gabakund, Puri, Odisha, where he achieved 83% in matriculation.
PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS
Baral pursued his passion for physics and earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics (Hons) at Samanta Chandra Sekhar (Autonomous) College, Puri. His dedication led to receiving an Inspire Scholarship in 2013, furthering his pursuit of knowledge. He completed his M.Sc. in Applied Physics with distinction at Odisha University of Technology and Research, Bhubaneswar, securing the first position.

Currently a 3rd-year Ph.D. scholar (SRF) at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore, Baral focuses on experimental condensed matter physics, specializing in photocatalytic wastewater treatment.
