MIRAY ALTINKAYNAK is a highly accomplished researcher in the field of biomedical engineering. Since 2024, she has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston University, Massachusetts, USA. Previously, from 2022 to 2024, she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Erciyes University in Kayseri, Turkey. Her academic journey began as a Research Assistant at Erciyes University from 2010 to 2021. During her early career, she also worked as a Research Assistant at Eindhoven University of Technology in Holland and Bozok University in Turkey.

Miray's outstanding contributions to biomedical engineering have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council Scholarship-2250 in 2024 and the Scholarship-2219 in 2023. She also received the Prof. Dr. Suphi Artunkal Award at the 26th National Nuclear Medicine Congress in 2014. Miray is currently leading a groundbreaking study on using concurrent fNIRS and eye-tracking to investigate brain functions during walking and social interaction, supported by TÜBİTAK 2219. She is also involved in evaluating the effects of internet usage duration on brain activity through various cognitive tasks. Her completed projects include an analysis of brain functions in young adults with internet game addiction and cognitive functions in patients with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders.
