Fatima Hlal, currently an Industrial PhD student at WSP & Chalmers, started her academic journey by graduating in 2011 from Al-Baath University in Syria with an Honor Degree, ranking first in her class. She later pursued a Master of Science in Structural Design and Building Technology at Chalmers University of Technology.

PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS:

With four years of experience as a Civil Structural Engineer in Saudi Arabia, Fatima contributed to the structural design of various projects, including palaces, mosques, commercial buildings, and high-end villas. Subsequently, she worked as a Lecturer at Albaath University in Syria, teaching geotechnical subjects, foundation, and soil mechanics.
