Ngiamte George Lemewihbwen has actively participated in notable field courses, including the Society of Economic Geology (SEG) Ronald E. Seavoy Field Course in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Here, he explored Tertiary-age volcanic-hosted epithermal precious metal deposits of the Walker Lane Trend. His studies involved examining various mineralization styles and ore types, including low-sulfidation gold deposits at Paradise Peak and high-sulfidation precious metal deposits in the Goldfield District. Additionally, he assessed detachment faults and hypogene mineralization at renowned gold districts. In October 2023, he attended the 8th SGA-IUGS-SEG-UNESCO Short Course in Johannesburg, South Africa, focusing on the role of mineral wealth in Africa's energy transition.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Geology at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon, Ngiamte is responsible for delivering lectures, grading assignments, and conducting tutorials in petrography and optical mineralogy.
