Prior to this, the individual served as a Technical Officer at CSIR-NEERI (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - National Environmental Engineering Research Institute) from October 30, 2000, to April 19, 2009.

Graduating with First Division honors in both Secondary and Higher Secondary education in West Bengal, India, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Mahishadal Raj College, securing First Class. This laid the groundwork for his Master's in Mathematics at Vidyasagar University, where he excelled with First Class honors. Subsequently, he earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Vidyasagar University, demonstrating a sustained commitment to academic excellence.

Dr. Amalesh Kumar Manna has undertaken various professional roles, showcasing his expertise and dedication. He served as a Guest Lecturer at Mahishadal Raj College before pursuing his Ph.D. Following this, he held the prestigious UGC-Dr. D. S. Kothari Post-Doctoral Fellowship at The University of Burdwan. Presently, he holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Engineering & Management Kolkata and previously served as an Assistant Professor at C. V. Raman Global University.
