EARLY ACADEMIC PURSUITS:

Ezema, Longinus Sunday, began his academic journey at Alagba Primary School in Ede-Oballa, Nsukka, Enugu State, earning his FSLC Primary School Certificate. He continued to Obukpa Community Secondary School, Nsukka, for his WAEC Senior School Certificate. Subsequently, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Communication Engineering option) at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, graduating in 2004.

PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS:

Following his academic achievements, Ezema engaged in various professional endeavors. Notably, he worked as a Sales Engineer at Heirs Technologies Limited (HSTL) in Lagos, Nigeria, gaining experience in market penetration analysis and account identification. Later, he served as an Operation Management Coordinator at Golden Shield Company in London, United Kingdom, overseeing client accounts and business development strategies.

EDUCATION ADVANCEMENT:

Ezema pursued further studies, obtaining a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication System option) from Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Sweden, in 2007. Subsequently, he earned a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering (Communication Engineering option) from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) in 2018.

ACADEMIC CONTRIBUTIONS AND RESEARCH FOCUS:

Currently holding the position of Senior Lecturer at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State, Ezema actively contributes to the field. His research interests lie in mobile communication, location estimation, and artificial intelligence. Notably, he is focused on developing a model/algorithm for estimating mobile location within cellular networks with high accuracy, meeting FCC-USA phase II accuracy requirements for emergency positioning.

IMPACT AND INFLUENCE:

With over 34 peer-reviewed papers published in locally and internationally acclaimed journals and conference publishers, Ezema has made a significant impact on the academic community. Six of these papers are published in Scopus and Thomson Reuters indexed journals, highlighting the reach and influence of his work.

MEMBERSHIPS AND REGISTRATION:

Ezema is an active member of professional bodies, including the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is a registered engineer with the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES:

Beyond his academic and professional commitments, Ezema actively engages in leadership mentoring and character formation for the youth in his immediate environment, demonstrating a commitment to community development.

Given his dedication to research and academia, Ezema's future contributions are likely to further advance the fields of mobile communication, location estimation, and artificial intelligence. His commitment to mentoring and community activities positions him as a leader in shaping the next generation.
