PROFESSORSHIP AT CHINA AGRICULTURE UNIVERSITY
WENTAO XU serves as a Professor in the College of Nutrition and Health at China Agriculture University. He holds the position of Principal Investigator (PI) at the Basic Platform for Food Safety within the Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Food Nutrition and Human Health. Additionally, he serves as Associate Director at The Lab of Storage and Preservation & Risk Assessment for Agri-products Quality and Safety (Beijing), MOA.

Dr. XU earned his PhD degree from the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering at China Agricultural University. His research focuses on Functional Nucleic Acids Biosensor in Food Safety and Precision Toxicology.
RESEARCH CONTRIBUTIONS
With a prolific research career, XU has authored about 190 peer-reviewed journal papers and published two monographs: "Functional Nucleic Acids Detection in Food Safety: Theories and Applications" and "Ochratoxin A: Biosynthesis, Detection and Biological Toxicity".

He holds the role of Editor-in-Chief for the "Journal of DNA and RNA Research", contributing significantly to the dissemination of research in his field.
