Xiulong Chen embarked on his academic journey with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Shandong University of Science and Technology (09/2015 – 06/2019). His passion for structural engineering was evident as he delved into topics such as steel structures, tubular joints, and nonlinear finite element analysis during his Master's (09/2019 – 06/2022), supervised by Prof. Peng Deng.

PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS

Xiulong Chen is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Southeast University (09/2022 – 06/2026) under the guidance of Prof. Bin Luo. His research focuses on concrete structures, prefabricated structures, composite slabs, and nonlinear finite element analysis. His Master's and Ph.D. research reflects a commitment to advancing knowledge in structural engineering.

Xiulong Chen's research contributions are notable, with publications and ongoing research projects. His publications include works on the mechanical behavior of reinforced concrete composite slabs and the flexural behavior of novel composite slabs.
